The Angel Paws Tree is an approved Pound Pals Fundraiser.
Beginning November 1st, you can sign up to provide Christmas gifts to a senior dog who has been discarded and survived death row.

There have been some changes made to this years Angel Paws Tree Program. Here is the technical stuff for participation in this year's program:
The cost for participation this year has changed (been reduced). The cost are as follows: to be an angel to a small senior $50, medium senior $75 and large senior $100. Angels are allowed to spent more if they choose to but will be committing to spend at least the amount listed above. If you do not want to work off a wish list, please sign up for the Santa Paws Tree (which allows you to choose the items of your choice and the amount you spend - please visit the Santa Paws Tree facebook page for program details).
If you choose a senior on our long route, you will receive a wish list of gift cards from the foster. We are not going to run the long route gift distribution this year. Instead, you will be given a list of three National Chain stores near the foster to choose gift cards from.
Seniors on the long route (Gift Card Wish List Only) participating in this year's Angel Paws Tree (and the cost to be an Angel) are: Biscuit (100), Jabari (100), Bailey (100), Rascal (100), Peppy (100), Eliza (100), Arden (100), Virginia (100), Lacey (100), Shelbie (100), MacArthur (100), Rummie (100), Ming (100), Brownie (100), Hobie (100), Sadie (100), Eli (75), Mollie (100), Luther (100), Dolly (100), Launa (100), Mallorie (100), Nickolas (100) and Cowboy (75).
If you select a senior on the long route, your senior's foster will complete the actual shopping and provide a photo of the senior with his/her gift.
Seniors on the shorter routes (actual gift item and gift card wish list) participating in this year's Angel Paws Tree are: Precious (100), Oakley (50), Lizzie (50), Sully (75), Emma (50), Addie Mae (50), Dottie (50), Gus (50), Paco (50), Molly-Roo (75), Willow (100), Moe (100), Bea (100), Mister (100), Arias (100), Chico (75), Wally (50), Harry (100), Toby (50), Abigail (75), George (75), Howard (50), Golden (100), Honey (100), Edee (100), Fancy (75), Girlie (50), Lola Mae (50), Winnie (50), Pops (50), Blackie (100), Tia (50), Tink (50), Weston (100), Baby (50), Bambi (75), Ripley (50) and Elsa (75).
Sadly last year we lost seven seniors during the Angel Paws Tree. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any senior will live until Christmas. We are shortening the distribution window this year. We start accepting Angel Sign Ups on November 1. We will assign Angels and email wish list on November 15. We will accept packages for the seniors from November 15 - December 15. We will not hold packages this year for a specific gift distribution date - instead the gift items and/or gift cards will be forwarded to the individual senior and his/her foster as they are received. If your senior passes away prior to receiving his/her gifts, your gifts will be redirected to another senior.
We hope these changes take stress off our volunteers and make this year's program even more enjoyable for our participating seniors, fosters and their Angels.
